Thanks Alan! I'm trying to figure out which W.W. Weaver is the right one. I know that he was in Selma in 1860. Of the several possibilities in Broadfoot's, so far this is the only company that I have found whose company has some relation to Selma. Perhaps he enlisted (or was conscripted) there and assigned to this unit while it was being organized. I'll check the microfilm.
