Thanks very much for the information. I had previously read the 54th Alabama page. Colonel Baker states that the men went to Camp Douglas as Prisoner's of War. However, many were sent to Camp Randall, Wisconsin. Could Camp Randall possibly be the fartherst North Prisoner Of War Camp during the Civil War.
