Hayes LoweSims Ala. > Miss.Mon Feb 12 21:16:37 2001 Any chance that your Sims are related to Barnet [Bernard] Glenn Sims and Elizabeth Gordon Sims. This family moved from Pickens Co., Ala. to Chickasaw Co., Miss. If I recall correctly, there were other related Sims families living in Chickasaw County, that had moved there from other areas of Alabama. If there is a relation to your Sims, you may want to see if he joined cousins who enlisted in Chickasaw Co. companies. Here's the ones that I know (all are sons of Barnet G. and Elizabeth G. Sims):SIMS, Benjamin F., CaptainBorn 1837-38. Moved from Picken Co. to Chickasaw Co., Miss. after 1841. Enlisted with the 3rd Battalion Miss. State Troops, Co. A and served as a Capt.
