i just read a compliment to this message board, and I want to reflect that. This is the most active and well informed internet posting service I have used so far. As a self trained amateur genealogist and historian, I have found the level of documentation rarely exhibited like this board. Rumors and intuition can sometimes help, but access to documents and critical details are the air good researchers breathe. I found plenty of fresh air here. Thanks again, and I hope to learn enough about the War documents to be of help myself some day.
