Thanks for your help. I can now take my records and make some sense of Henry Sims's service. He shows service in the 2nd and the 3rd AL Reserves.

He was hospitalized in (Ross) Mobile, (Ladies) Montgomery, and Selma, and was paroled with his unit in April, 1865, while on medical leave. So it appears he spent most of his time with the 63rd but was also elsewhere because of hospitalization.

I believe he also was in the building of a railroad just before and during the War, probably the Selma-Meridian line which was one of only 2 roads I am told run by the CSA Army. I have taken some records of that RR from the Va. Tech library if anyone is interested in the minutes of the road during the War.
