First, visit this site of Dr. Ken Jones' website:

Second, visit the bibliography section of that same website to see if Dr. Jones may have any links to 51st related sites listed there, or references to any written sources.

Third, do a search using a search engine. I did this for the 51st not too long ago. I was able to pull up several bits and pieces that added information to what Dr. Jones has posted. I think that I used Yahoo, with the advanced search mode, searching for "all words" on "51st Alabama Cavalry" or "51st Alabama Partisan".
