Royce E. EstesAllen Toney EstesWed Feb 7 16:54:43 2001 My GrGr Grandfather was born in 1850 so he was too young. I did have another Gr Gr Grandfather on my mothers side. He also died in a yankee prison camp in Illinois. I still have not found where he is resting. He was Robert John Glenn and he was from White County, Tennessee. So a lot of my family served. My Estes line came from the Atlanta area. The family there suffered a lot. My 4th Great grandfather lost his house to some of Sherman's torch happy soldiers. He lost a son at Vicksburg and Nephews also. Another question. Was Roddey's men with Hoods army? Sincerely, Royce EstesLocations of Roddey's 4th AL Cav Nov./Dec.
