My paternal ggggrandfather joined Company F in March and trained in Selma for over a month. He is listed "present for duty" during the Seven Days in the original muster role located at the state archives in Montgomery. After that they went to 2nd Manassas with Wright, Anderson & Longstreet. They were with them at Sharpsburg and Fredricksburg. They went with Law, Hood & Longstreet to Suffolk, Gettysburg, Chicamauga and back to Virginia.
