That was the census, here is the way it was;
Co E of the 60th Ala Inf Rgt was not formed
until Nov 1863; records at NARA show that
David and Seaborn enlisted first as pvts in
Co A, 3d Bn, Hilliard's Legion; when the
legion was disbanded in Nov 1863, they were
a part of the group used to form the 60th
Ala Inf Rgt; both have two records at NARA,
one for service w/ Hilliard's and one for
service w/ Co E, 60th Ala Inf.
