Some records of the Academy Hospital do survive. They are mostly in the Samuel H. Stout Papers in the Barker Texas History Collection, Center for American History, at the University of Texas-Austin, Austin, Texas. Yes, I remember somebody here asking about the Ship Island burials. I can't remember who it was though. Have you tried the search function to see if you can find the thread?
