On his wife's widow pension it says he was in the 2nd Alabama HANNONS Calvary. Do you have any idea what HANNONS mean? I thought maybe it was the name of his Commander or something, but haven't been able to find anything. I have been to the Alabama Archives and they had very little on this regiment.
