You might look at Capt. J. R. Hart's company, which became part of the 21st Georgia. Confederate Veteran, vol. 13, p. 176 states that this company was made up along the Alabama and Georgia line.
I also found that 1st Corporal Percival Cumbaa from Coffee, Alabama was a member of Company E, 8th Florida regiment. He was captured at Gettysburg on July 2, 1863 and released from prison on June 10, 1865. Tom
