Found a few old guys in Texas in on line 1850 census that probably didn't serve. John 40, Issac W 46, and Jonathan 28 in Milam precinct. Hope the last one is in the 1860 census with a son named John. Might have served. 15 year old John W, son of Issac was probably to young to have the gggrandpaw. Found a J J, 18, in Limestone precinct. One of these may show gggrandpaw in the household when the 1860 census is researched.

Parts of three different counties or precincts in what is now McLennan County or city of Waco. They are Limestone, Milam and Navarro (none).
