There is a history of the hospital at Marion, AL, if that is the one you are referring to. It was established at Marion Military Institute (which still exists) temporarily as a refuge on the retreat from Jackson, MS. There is a Confederate cemetery in Marion where soldiers who died in the hospital have been reburied. It stands under a redwood tree, the largest east of the Mississippi, so I'm told. I'll try to locate the name of the publication (I know the library at MMI and at Judson College (in Marion) each have one.

Don't know about the other hospital.
