I am searching for information on a Joseph H. (Henry?) SHARP who was supposed to have served with the 9th AL Cavalry during the Civil War. I have had some difficulty in locating an on-line site that lists the rosters of this unit.

Joseph married Lucy Ann JONES in Marshall Co., MS on 11 Jan 1869 and my information indicates he is buried at Surette Cemetery, Arkabutla, Tate Co., MS but no date was given.
