Confederate Sailor who went down with the TITANIC.

I have recently been given the name of Confederate sailor, Samuel Beard Risien, who, according to the Confederate Veteran magazine, was a member of Joe Johnston veteran's camp, Texas, and had served aboard the CSS ALABAMA. Risien and his wife, Emma Lellyet were third class passengers on the TITANIC, and did not survive the sinking in 1912. I am attempting to corroborate his CS Naval service, and would like any further details from anyone with such information. I have also been given the names of two others on the TITANIC who were in the Civil War, one a Union drummer boy, and the other a blockade runner. Any help on Risien's service would be very much appreciated.
