Mary Ann is looking for information on the 5th Alabama Infantry Regiment, not cavalry. As usual, the high number of units in Alabama designated as the "5th" is causing confusion (5th Ala. Cav. Reg., 5th Ala. Battalion, 5th Alabama Inf. Reg., 5th Alabama Dragoons, and etc. I still have not identified who the 5th Alabama Dragoons were!) I can only imagine the confusion this caused during the war!

At any rate, the 5th Ala Infantry was indeed at Chancellorsville.
