I'll have to try to retrace my footsteps on where I found him. He is one of the few men on which I have absolutely nothing additional. No date/place of enlistment, no date of birth/death, no genealogical record, etc. I'll see if I can find where the name came from. I can rule out a tombstone, as I would have had his place of burial. Perhaps it was from Anne Bloomquist's booklet? I'll let you know if I figure it out.

I also am not sure where I found the info on Sprott. However, wherever it came from, he was definitely shown as Capt. of Company B of the 40th...not the 19th. I'll try to retrace my footsteps on him, too.
