Alan,
I have found a few pictures in one of my file boxes. I will send those to you as soon as I figure out how. Also, I will try to send you some bits of info. that I picked up elswhere.
I talked to a guy the night before last who is a member of the local SCV camp at Water Valley. He is a friend of mine who knows that I've been trying to research Camp B. As soon as I can get things in order I'm going over to show him what I've found so far on my own, and what you've told me. He told me that I ought to come to the next meeting and show them what I have so far. I was wondering if there is anything that you would like for me to tell them about you. You have helped me so much, that I want to give you your propper credit. If you would like to, e mail me something about yourself- what you do, what state your from, ect.
I've still been going over what I have so far. If you could, would you send a list of the works from which you have been using? (I already have some, but I want to be able to cite those properly.)
I will ask some of the SCV members if they have ever thought of the POW possibility. The more and more I think of it, the more it makes sense. The main ridge where the Camp was sits almost ontop of where the railroad ran at the bottom of the hill. Confederate graves (& the mass graves) were already there.
I have to run to town (Mayfield) for a min. I will try to get those to you tonight.
