Mrs. Spell passed away a few years ago at an advanced age. She was a walking and talking encyclopedia of Alabama history. I was fortunate enough to have her as a substitute teacher on many occassions in Jr. and Sr. high school. I can only imagine the extent of her collection. It would be well worth searching for it. Gregg is online very infrequently (his last post previous to this one was two months ago) so he may not see your question to reply.
