Even got the name right that time; I know
you indicated that he had served with a NC
unit, but found a couple by that name who
served in Ala units:

J.W. Kornegay, Pvt, Co F, (Livingston's) 8th
Ala Cav Rgt.

John W. Korneygay, Pvt, Co H, 44th Ala Inf
Rgt.

When you do find out for sure who he served
with, would appreciate it if you would send
that, along with his parents, names only for
the SE Alabama Confederate Soldiers Cemetery
Records.
