Hayes Lowe
Confederate cemetery.

I don't know if there is a Confederate cemetery as such, but I do have the following which gives a clue that there was:

BALL, A. (Enlisted in Pickensville 9/15/1863. Died in hospital at Demopolis 2/20/1864.) [Probably Amos, born 1835-36 in Ala. Possibly Albert A.D., born 1844-45 in Ala.]

If there was a hospital, there were bound to be burials of soldiers either on the hospital grounds or in the town. However, I also have several listings like this:

CARVER, Wesley H. (Born 1844. Died in service at Demopolis or in Marine Hospital, Mobile, Ala. 5/17/1862 of measles and/or typhoid fever. Remains were returned to Pickens County)
