(If they don't have his record, I'll do an NATF 80 request via the National Archives.) Obviously, all this will take time--probably two months. If you come up with anything, let me know. I'll check the message board from time to time, or you can e-mail me directly. If I find anything out, I'll return the favor (to satisfy your curiosity, if nothing else). Bruce tells me there's no available Montgomery wartime paper on microfilm, so I won't get the answer that way.
