Hembrie, David Enlisted in Jefferson County, Alabama February 26, 1862 at age 20. Sick in hospital at Shelby Springs, alabama April 30, 1862. On detail service to to go after deserters November of 1862.

Hembree, Jeptha F. Enlisted in Jefferson County, Alabama February 26, 1862 by Lieutenant Earle. Ill in the hospital at Shelby Springs, Alabama. P.O.W. at Missionary Ridge, November 23, 1863. Confined at Rock Island Prison, Illinois December 5, 1863. In Jackson Hospital at Richmond, Virginia March 9. Diagonoses: Debilities.

Hembree Enoch W. Company D 28th Alabama Infantry (Sergeant) Enlisted at Elyton, Jefferson County, Alabama, February 6, 1862. Sick at Shelby Springs Hospital February 6 to April 30 of 1862. Became 4th Sergeant. Captured by the enemy November 23, 1863 but escaped. Was at Dalton, Georgia April 4, 1863.
