I find a Pvt. J.N. Hester Co.B. 1ST Ala. Cav. Regt.and Pvt. J.N. Hester Co. B 13TH BN Ala. Partisan Rangers. I suspect these may be the same man.

Also found a Pvt. David Hester Co. C 29TH Georgia Inf. Regt., but no David G. W. Hester or any variation of those initials.
